Denise Rebeil (she/her/ella) has coordinated efforts to mobilize New Yorkers to win tenant protections with the Housing Access Voucher Program (HAVP) in 2025 and was part of the New York for All (NY4A) campaign efforts that led to policy changes to protect immigrant communities in 2026. In her day-to-day work, she oversees programming and campaign work around environmental justice to achieve a more dignified, just, and healthy New York for immigrant and working-class communities. Denise holds a Master of Public Policy degree from Duke University and has been organizing for immigrant rights for over 15 years. She is from the borderlands of Arizona, identifies as Chicana, and is a daughter of Mexican immigrants. In addition to fighting against anti-immigrant policies in Arizona and New York, she has fought for food sovereignty and environmental justice in Caguas, Puerto Rico.
