Adama Bah is the Executive Director and Founder of Afrikana, a Black-led grassroots organization supporting Black immigrant and diaspora communities across Harlem, the Bronx, and Brooklyn. With over 18 years of experience and as a formerly undocumented Black woman her work is rooted in lived experience and community trust.She leads efforts providing direct services such as food access, case management, language support, and workforce navigation, reaching over 140,000 individuals. Adama also advocates for equitable access to services, pushing for systemic change so Black migrant communities are not left behind.Her work is grounded in dignity, compassion, and respect, with a focus on ensuring all communities can access the resources they need to thrive.
